NOTE: Sir Andy was enthusiastic about my difficulty with those troublesome few cards in my Grade One Kanji deck, and asked for front and back images of the cards. Given the nature of how these decks are produced, I can’t after-the-fact give both sides, but here is essentially what is on the flip side. In the sidebar they go. Simple, right?

I’d mentioned to him yesterday that all I could see was a mix of things that should be, that aren’t (a few horizontal lines over the character for month), for example. In response, being the amazing Japanese language tutor he is, I got a small volume of research as to what I needed to know in order to make sense of things. How am I this lucky to have him as my guy, eh?!?!? You should steal him too –> Andy Foord… awesome Japanese tutor.
