NOTES: Progression through the Midori kanji and JLPT N5 word decks is going well. I already seem to have the Grade 1 Kanji down pat (latent knowledge, mostly) and am 87 cards into the 160 card Grade 2 deck. A few tough-to-remember ones here and there, but overall things are sticking. With the JLPT N5 deck, I’m 90 cards into the 663 word deck. Progress.

Worth commenting that we have NHK radio running for at least two hours each day, so I’m getting a lot of passive input that way too.
